Growing up, I spent countless hours outside, hiking and climbing in wild places, breathing fresh air, and seeing flowers. These experiences influenced me as a business owner, which is why we give 1% for the planet; I believe environmental consciousness is crucial. I think it is important to treat the earth with respect.
We Give 1% for the Planet
Something you may not know about us is that we are a California Certified Green Business. We are also a member of One Percent For The Planet—we donate 1% of our gross revenues to environmental causes, in an effort to ensure that future generations can enjoy and see our wild planet’s beautiful places. We use all-natural soaps, recycle, and re-use water from job to job. We are also aware of our carbon footprint—we schedule our jobs strategically to reduce the distance we drive each day. All of these choices represent our dedication to integrity, responsibility, and care for the well-being of others.
Our crew has volunteered time clearing debris and trash from river bottoms. We also donate to The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy (OVLC) and the Ventura Land Trust. These non-profits preserve our local wild treasures to ensure that our future generations will be able to enjoy California’s natural beauty for generations to come.
